Now I’m moving to Chiang Mai, Thailand, and I built Escape2Asia to share everything I know with people who are ready to make their own move.

I spent 14 years running an English language center in Vietnam, and I’m about to move to Chiang Mai, Thailand to teach business at an international school. I’ve lived the expat life from the inside, the long way, not as a tourist passing through but as someone who built a business, built a community, and built a home on the other side of the world.
I built Escape2Asia because the information most people find online is either outdated, generic, or written by someone who visited for a week and called themselves an expert. Everything on this site comes from firsthand experience.
